Abacus does not load correctly in Internet Explorer

If you are experiencing problems with Abacus not loading correctly in Internet Explorer 9, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

If you are experiencing problems with Abacus not loading correctly in Internet Explorer 9, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on the cog symbol
  3. Click 'Internet options'.

Within Internet Options, click 'Advanced'.

  1. Within the Advanced tab, click 'Restore advanced settings'
  2. Click 'Reset'.
  1. Within the 'Reset Internet Explorer Settings' dialogue, tick the 'Delete personal settings' check box
  2. Click 'Reset'.

Once your settings have been reset, click 'Close'.

  1. Close and re-open Internet Explorer
  2. Type in https://my.parenta.com/ to go to your Abacus login page
  3. Click on the cog symbol again and click 'F12 developer tools' (highlighted in red above)

 

  1. Click on 'Browser Mode' drop down menu and ensure 'Internet Explorer 9' is selected.
  2. Click on 'Document Mode' drop down menu and ensure 'Internet Explorer 9 standards' is selected.
  3. Close the developer tools window.
  4. Login and start using Abacus.
